Plant care instructions: Water: Regular and thorough watering is the key to your success. Make sure the water gets to all the plants in the pot, from the edges to the center. Even when we receive rain, please check your containers to see that they received proper hydration. Rainwater is usually never enough to make a difference. Wind dries out the planters; if it is particularly windy, please water more frequently. Morning water is ideal, but watering in general is key. Plants in the shade do not dry out as quickly and require less watering. The frequency of watering depends on daily temperatures: 80 degrees and above temperatures – water daily 70 degrees – water every other day 60 degrees – water every third day Fertilize: We use fertilizer when we plant but also recommend that you use a bloom boosting fertilizer that encourages blooms, starting in mid-June. Simply mix it in a watering can and use it to water your flowers once every 7-14 days. Trim: Don't be afraid to give your plants a haircut if you have a plant or flower that has gotten a little long or if one plant seems to be taking over the pot. Be careful not to trim off too much at once, however. A good rule of thumb is to trim less than 1/3 of the plant. Pest control: One good thing about watering daily is that you can notice immediately if a plant starts to fail. If something looks amiss, check for bugs on the underside of the leaves. If you do see bugs, you will want to treat the plant asap with an insecticide called Eight or Neem Oil. Our goal is to keep your flowerpots looking amazing and bringing you joy all season long so please reach out to us if you have any questions.
